The screws removed from British's ankle
Whoooaaah! So after a week of overwhelming response on #TeamBritish, I’m finally back on the grind.
Quick updates, #British has the surgery last week Wednesday at Menelik Hospital, off Ngong rd. The surgery was scheduled for Tuesday but the implant that she was meant to get was delayed at Kijabe Hospital….long story short, the surgery was done on Wednesday and it lasted 2 hours.
The surgeon, Dr. Gakuu assured us he had his best and managed to remove 2 out of the 4 screws in #British’s ankle. I have attached a picture.
#British is now home recovering and will be going for dressing of the wound every week until she completely heals.
I want to thank everyone for coming through for British and for all the love and support you shown us.
The total bill amounted to Ksh. 202, 000 and we had fundraised Ksh. 195,000. AMAZING JOB TO ALL TWEEPS!
